Mr what the rest of these pranksters forgot to tell you you may need new valve stems,used to work in tire shop and the stems will leak on older valves these are a cheap replacment item at any farm store. just make sure valve is on top that way if it leaks you won't lose much fluid. then add 18-20 lbs of air more than enough.

I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
