Hello fellow Cockshutt 30 owner .... I've seen those switches advertised in the Antique Power Magazine, I think the name of the Company is "Agri-Services" or something like that but they are pretty pricey. Maybe try a Google search for that. You need to feed the generator's field circuit through a 3 ohm ceramic resistor and then to ground. That will give you the same control that those old light switches provided. The generator itself can be adjusted to control it's output at the generator itself by adjusting the relative position of the 3rd brush inside the generator housing on the end plate.
