JA, you're right, about half the time a stuck caliper is actually a sticking bolt bushing. Of course if you replace the caliper it forces you to inspect and lube the bolts. There's a special silicone grease for brakes that you should use, rather than a petroleum-based grease. Rubber parts in brake systems don't like petroleum.
