Jim - I have bought tractors without personally seeing them but I always had pictures and discussions with the seller. Then I would overnight a bank check to the seller, and pick up the tractor after the seller was comfortable. Like Bob said below, NEVER agree to send any money back, and make sure all your money is in your hands before you let your tractor go. If someone wants your tractor bad enough, they can spend 10 bucks to overnight the check to you. Don"t waste your time with someone who drags out the process and plays the "check is in the mail" game.
