Maybe post over at the timber framers guild website as well. Before posting there maybe dig out some of the specifics of the barn. Foot print, timber size, type of timbers, an overall count of timbers, roof material, siding material, frame design. Woodweb.com in one of the classifieds sections you will find old barn beams for sale. On occassion around here we knock the hazardous ones down with an excavator and pick out the salvageable timbers. Rest gets cut into bonfire stock.
