I am also an Econ. Dev. Dir. in northern Maine. I am part of a group that started a farm museum about two years ago. Here"s the deal. You won"t have a successful venture unless you have a lot of volunteers behind you. You need solid, long term community support. Don"t be a one man show. You can"t do it all. Use your position to help underwrite the finances of the project. Be sure you are a 501 c 3 corporation. Be a stand-alone organization. Accept the idea you will always need money. It won"t be a self funding project without the above. In two years, we took out a 50K mortgage, paid out oil bill, made thousands of $ of improvements to our building and have written the mortgage down to 29K. That represents a lot of hard work by a core group of 60 or more people. Go for it, keep your feet on the ground, keep close track of the money and build a BIG SUPPORT group. Chas

Quite similar to the Ford NAA (Golden Jubilee) in design, it used the same 132 cubic inch Red Tiger engine with 31 horsepower.
