if you are farming and need a front wheel assist, then it is too muddy to be in the field. If you are using it in a barnlot, then it is nice to have, cattle have to be fed, no matter how wet it is. My Dad farmed for 50 plu syears, always had good crops with out FWD tractor. He always said the above. If you do go muddin' to do field work, all you are doing is making the ground harder.
