I think your friend is the one that got screwed. You can do all the same work with an 80 HP Belarus as you can with an 80 HP tractor of any other brand. The new generation ones have Husco hydraulics, which is the same system used by John Deere. They also improved the shifting and turning radius on the 8345 and they still start good in the winter and are easy on fuel. I have an 825 and the only thing I wish I had was the newer hydraulics like the 8345. The old ones leak constantly.
