Agree to a point. Horsepower is only part of the picture. Nearly 80% of the tractors manufactured, between 25 and 75 horsepower are being built as MFWD tractors. That horsepower range is relatvely easy to "hook up". With 3 point equipment becoming increasingly heavy, there is a need to build tractors with more of a front-heavy wieght bias. That only serves to make MFWD work better. Most small to mid sized utility tractors never see tillage equipment any more. They are loader tractors. They do hay work. They mow weeds. Utility work.......At that point, front wheel power is a saftey and control issue more than pure "drawbar pull". I"d still order my new tractor WITH it. John
