Not true about "BF" Avery on the big tractors. The Avery at the show came from the Avery Company of Peoria, Illinois and they were made much earlier than the BF Avery tractors. BF Avery (although it had been around since the early 1800's as a plow company) had a failed early attempt in about 1915 (their small "walking plow"), and then their first real attempt at a farm tractor was in 1941 or so when they took over the manufacturing rights to the Cletrac General GG. They repainted it red and called it the BF Avery model A. They were made in Louisville, Kentucky. No relationship at all between the two companies.
