A DC3 has a narrow front end, A DC4 has a wide front end, but still has the 38 inch rear wheels for row crop work. There should be 7 digits in the serial number. You may want to double check that, and then take the first two digits and subtract 4, That will give you the year. Once you have the full serial number, look up DCTOM on the Case board, and he can look up the build card for that tractor and give you more information.
