Been wanting to buy my first disc and have been watching one for sale along the road to the hay field. He wants a buck and a quarter for it, an old, rusty pull type, 9' wide and everything funtional. Been so tight here lately just can't swing it. Last Tues. an aquiantance that bought some hay last year calls and asks if I can mow his field since the mini tractor can't do it. We agreed to use his mower on my tractor since that's another thing I don't have yet. Went and looked at it and figured maybe 3 hours or so. So Yesterday morn. I was on the 300U tooling down the road at 7:00 am enjoying the scenery, toolbox strapped to the back. After breaking the shear pin on the mower I finished up at 12:30, about 4 hours worth. The fella wrote a check for $125 and I got to have a nice smile for 12 miles towards home at 16 miles/hour. Loren
