check your starter solenoid and wires that come from it see if you have a short or ground also you should check that terminal end is clean and where is bolts to tractor is clean and has a good connection is starter ok did it work before you changed battery?. I had a 990 good tractor mine was a 61 I have all the manuals if you need any drop me an email [email protected].
