Airless guns work good for buildings, steel or wood, but I wouldn't try to paint anything fancy like a tractor. Houses would be a tossup. For big open areas it would be ok, but around windows ,shutters, and trim you would really have to watch out for overspray. Keep vehicles away that overspray can drift. I don't know about the new ones but the older ones will spray latex or oil. They would also spray that alum. asphalt roof spray for steel roofs.
