I know what you mean. I live near the coast and my homeowners (Allstate) has skyrocketed over the last few years. It is close to 800$ a year now. I know people who pay close to 2000$ per year for basic homeowners insurance. Anyone know of a good company that still writes policies for people who live near the coast?
