John Deere 1020 - Hydraulics

I'm buying a 1966 JD 1020 (still have to go pick it up), and by all accounts on these discussion boards it's a pretty solid machine. My question is this. There are no hydraulic remotes on the rear. Is it possible to add them and if so what's invloved. This is my first tractor so any other info anyone wants to give me about this model would be greatly appreciated. - Thanks
