JD 60 Orchard

I posted a message awhile ago in regards to this tractor.I have a JD 60 Orchard that I would like to restore,it was purchase new and has been in the family since new.The entire tractor was repainted yellow.In my last post I was trying to find out what model it was and at that time was told it was a JD 60,anyway since then I found the original operators manual hoping I coud find the tractor number and find out what year it is.All family members are deceased so I have no idea of the year.
In the manual it gives the location for the tractor number,distributor number and powr-trol,however the tractor number is to be located below the distributor cab according to the manual.I carefully scaped and clean the paint from that area but no numbers or tag can be found.My questions are;Was the tag metal and riveted or was it a decal type?Is there another location for the tractor number I can look?
The Delco distributor number is 1111558,Model 4D36 ???,the operators manual number is;OM-R2029R and is for serial numbers 6000001 and up..would this be any help in finding out what year it is ? This is all I have, if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it..Thanks.John...
