I really don't agree with your statement on shortage of Portland cement. It is mined only about 200 miles east of me , between Baker City and Ontario, OR. The last time I was by there 6 weeks ago. not to many cars in the parking lot. They built new plant some years back closed the old one down,it is still there. LOTS of lime in them mountains.Don't think they will be running out anytime soon. Cause all the mountains around that area is mostly lime deposits.
