Have been using a Direcway 4,000 series duplex reciever and seperate send modem unit. Got a notice from Direcway about upgrading to their new 6,000 series all in one modem that needs no soft ware or phone line initialization to start or restart. Have any of you people tried this system yet? Would like a few opinions and/or case histories if any body has tried this system yet. Present system works well, but is a real PITA to start up or restart every time there is some computer or ISP problem. Direcway says it is no faster, just more user friendly and is supposed to be able to connect to a wireless router with out having to feed through the computer if I understand what I read. I would appreciate any information from you people out there. Guess keeping the internet linkup is essential to get on this forum!
