Good advice here.....but one more thing. Crank up your hot water tank, and take a shower as hot as you can stand on the affected area. It will sting! But it will eventually start to feel a little numb. That's when you need to quit. Get all the affected area that way. You will now have about four hours of relief. I don't know why it works, but it does. When I get it, three or four showers a day gets me through.
