In deep south La the state has said our sugar cane crop is excellent at 85-90% of farms.
But they did plant it last Sept.
The problem is if it does not slow down on the rain it will have mud in the harvested crop driving down the price at the mill.
They are usually in next years fields by now making rows but I have not seen one field rowed up yet.
