If you send an oil sample to an oil analysis outfit they can tell you what you pretty much already know! Possible causes: 1.)Bad transfer pump.
2.)Injection pump shaft seal.
3.)Miss-firing cylinder due to bad injector, or due to lack of compression from a leaky valve, or bad piston/rings.
