Listen to the other guys. Sandblasting is ideal for sheet metal or other items that can be removed, sandblasted, cleaned, and repainted before putting back on the tractor. Don't sandblast machined surfaces (ie: manfolds, bearing races, anything else like that). Don't sandblast radiator core. Basically, can do sheet metal, bare rims or the likes of, after removed from your tractor. I'm drawing a blank, but there are other mediums that work just as well as sand for blasting, but are less harsh or abrasive than sand. And, if doing to bare metal, clean and prime same day, because rust sets in over night.
