I like Olivers, but new parts are not as available and they didn't sell many of the newer ones so used parts are also harder to find. I am not a particular AC fan, but the D17 was a good tractor and they sold a lot of them. Consequently parts are readily available, particularly used ones. I really like the Ford 5000 and 4000 series including the derivaties such as the 4500 and 5500. Just don't get the Select-O-Speed, more potential problems than it is worth.

Seeing an Old Friend - by Joe Evans. Dad had a concrete contracting business starting in 1960. One of his first pieces of equipment was a Ferguson TO-35 with a Davis loader. Dad replaced the TO-35 with a MF 202 Workbull, essentially an industrialized Ferguson 35 I am told.
