Buying a tractor isn't just the purchase price, it is the total operating cost over a period of time. A tractor that costs more, but doesn't break down and sips fuel will be less expensive to operate than a cheaper tractor that is down due to broken parts (with a long wait for parts to be shipped in from Afganistan), won't run or is in the shop all the time.
