1967 Bolens model 1650

Having problems with defr.. Don't know whetherit is a limit slip or suppose to be a one wheel drive. The one wheel drive i doubt is right , but isimply don't know. can anyone help me? The left wheel has a split "t" nut with three spring washers behind it,and only by removing the washers and tightening the nut cani make the left wheel pull. But then if i get stuck the right wheel will not pull. I'm in a delimma , does someone have aschematic they could e-mail me or any advise would be greatly appreciated .
