1984 MTD front axle

yeah it goes like this. i got a 1984 ranch kind garden tractor with a 18hp engine and 44 inch cut. i was using my leafswepper and i hit a rock. it cracked the front axle on the right side(the right when your sitting on the mower. its been sitting in my shed for almost 2 years and the only thing i can do to it is run the engine. i cant turn it at all. if anyone has a tractor like this or knows of a website that sells parts for older mowers, PLEASE let me know because its my grandfathers and he said to take care of it before he died. ive been cleaning it a tuning it all the time. and now it just sits there. so PLEASE, someone help me!!!!!!!!
