The model & ser # are hand-stamped, sometimes lightly, on the cast lobe of iron below the air cleaner, in front of the clutch pedal. You will likely need to remove some dirt & new paint (at least a wet finger) to see it, & diesels tend to have a battery there instead of the air cleaner which eats the numbers off. Which tranny do you have, 4 speed, 5, speed, or SoS? Do you have live pto if you have a 5-speed? Can probably figure it out from those answers too. The serial # is important for ordering parts, and you can look up the age of your tractor with it on several sites. --->Paul
