Timing mark is on the flywheel. There is a hole you can see the mark through. Your's may or may not still have the cover in place. Point gap is .025
By the way, if it's a 600, it is not 1962. If it is 1962, it's a 601 series. You can check using the serial number list in left hand column on this page. Above info applies in either case.
