The flow and pressure output from a centrifical turbine is not linear, not proportional to rpm like a positive displacemnt blower.
The flow, pressure and power required to drive a blower increases with the square or the cube root depending on which factor.
Don't know what you are up to, but a belt driven Whipple screw compressor off the supercharged Buick 3800 would be a consideration.
