I usea good running Ford 2N in just your situation with a 6 foot KK finish mower. Here's what works: unbolt the silly discharge shoot. That silly bar is just a place for discharge to get hung up. This gets you off the tractor all the time unclogging it.....way more unsafe than what the guard provides.....otherwise, it's been a great mower. Take Care
