McBurr: Reference WMD given to Saddam to fight Iran- please clarify, WMD=??. Last I heard Iraq got recon photos, some spare parts, medicine and communication gear openly, no poison gas, some germ samples that might have been used in weapon research instead of medical, no A bomb grade material. Discrete military ordinance -minimal. Iraqi army mostly Soviet pattern at that time, minimal British, French, South African etc equipment. Poison Gas also Soviet pattern- some made in Iraq. RN.
