Rainbow, Pot of gold

Last year I had the injector pump on the Deere rebuilt. Things were working great. Lately noticed erratic rpm's and at full load, power would do fine then drop off. Ahah! Fuel starvation? Bad Injector? Injector pump rebuild failing? $$$$$$$$$ What about fuel filters clogged? NAW, I JUST CHANGED THEM WHEN I REDID THE PUMP. No more than I use this tractor, they should be good for a couple of years. I use 55 gal drums for fuel, keep it under cover; filters at the store, and filter out of the drum. Removed the fuel filters and rust powder was all over and in everything. Seems the fuel tank is going thru a reptile skin change. New filters and she runs sweet as a sewing machine. And, it quit raining and I'm making hay!(It all went to NW Nebraska.) AH! life is sweet. Mark
