I accidently killed my dog with a bucket of antifreeze,it is definately not the way to go. He suffered alot before I finished him off,now I am careful to keep the stuff covered. Now back to the issue, You could wrap a steak around your arm and after the dog bites you you have the right to do as you please, just make sure you have some tooth marks on you.. But I would suggest using a live trap so the animal control can come take the dog away. You can make one from a large wooden box,a stick and string just like in the movies,my kids have done this sucessfully. Or a wooden box and a figure4 trigger works also,we caught our cocker spaniel several times testing the trap. The 4 trigger made from 2x2's and an old camper shell would be perfect, and you would'nt be breaking any laws.
