Rick, be absolutely silent about what you may do. Tell no one, and I mean NO ONE. And remember, as told to you below, if you contact any Government office about the dog, then you will be the principle suspect and will be investigated and/or sued and/or charged. We had an elected county offical who was acused by neighbors of killing a dog. Sheriff investigated and District Atorney was up to his neck in it. The newspaper said the sentence max was 2 years of hard time. If the dog is attacking you, your family, or your livestock, then you can usually beat the charges, but if you get cought shooting a dog just because it is a nuisance, then you are in real trouble nowadays.
