Ok. That sounds logical. Explain something to me though. What does an automatic compression release look like? I read somewhere that it is built into the camshaft. But. I didn't see anything. I have a cam, tappet, valve and valve spring with keepers. Is the automatic compression release something designed into the cam profile? If so. Then it would be RPM sensitive if I am correct. When I first heard the tick. I was like. Ohh great. A rod bearing or something. *sigh* Anyway. TIA -Matt-
