OT RFD TV

Well, I tuned my DirecTV satellite system to channel 379 for the second time yesterday and caught the last of a fabulous old iron presentation. The tractor was driven around in front of you while the owner narrated the history of the thing. Then they would stop them and restart them in front of you. This is for sure, I'm spoiled. I was amazed at the complexity of some of the starting procedures. You think the Deere pony starter is complicated, you ain't seen nuttin yet. Great show. And I finally learned that RFD stands for Rural Free Delivery (of the US mail) of all things. Seems Roosevelt or someone, felt that the rural American was just as entitled to receive US Mail as was his Urban counterpart so he said ship it RFD. How bout dat. Mark
