VERY FEW tractors have down pressure on the 3-point hitch, and I don't know offhand which do. As far as a nice little Ford 'N sized tractor, I have a nice 424 IH diesel tractor. Very similar in size to the Fords, it's got nearly 40 HP, live PTO and hydraulics, and power steering. It also has differential lock. They were produced in the 1965 to 1967 era. All in all a very usefull little tractor, if you can find one. Most parts are readily available from CNH. Mahindra bought out the design from Harvester years ago, and apparently still makes a very similar tractor, supposedly something like 80% of the parts are still the same. I bought some PTO control lever parts from CNH earlier this year, and they were stamped "Made in India"! I don't know, however, what current Mahindra model number is.
