Thats really the best advice you can give, find another job while you still have one. You can say that you don't want your current employer contacted on your resume. Most employers will understand that, since alot of employers will let you go on the spot, if they find out that you are looking for another job. If you quit before finding another job, most employers will want a reference from your previous employer. Since your boss sounds like a jerk, do you really want him giving a reference on you? Also like one of the other posters said NEVER bad mouth your boss to a another prospective employer, even if he is a total jerk. Good Luck.
