Seems like you still have a fuel restriction in the carb, a part that is incorrect or not installed as the original. Check for an air leak that may be contributing. Put you hand over the carb throat and crank the engine with the choke open. Do you have a good vacuum? Is the intake manifold tight, no visible gaps in the gasket? Joe
