Bobcat 444

Just picked up a Bobcat 444 for a bit more than a grand. Engine runs, hydraulics go up and down, bucket needs a bit of repair. Only thing really broke is the drive belt pulley on the engine. The engine side of the pulley broke away from the shaft and needs to be welded. Any thoughts on the best ways to fix this? I'm a fair welder and figure I should be able to do it unless there's some hidden problems I don't know about.
