Hi Short Round, slow fan/dirty evaporator coils = not enough air flow. With low air flow then the heat load on the evaporator drops causing the evaporator to ice. Excessive High air flow would blow the condensastion off the evaporator coil causing water puddles on the floor or in the duct work. There could be at certian times of the year (low heat load times) that if the cold control (t-stat) was not working correct could also cause the evaporator to freeze up. This would be more of a problem on larger refer units than smaller ones. A non working control would not let the compressor cycle off thus the evaporator could ice up. T_Bone
