You will see both McCormick and Farmall tractors. The current companies figure they can get a better return on investment on the cost of a decal and exploit the old names rather than selling a new tractor on its own merits. The same with Cub Cadet. Todays Cub Cadets are far from the durabiliy and quality of the originals. Probably the closest you can come to an original IH tractor now days is the Mahindra. I don't know anything about the new tractors. They may be very good tractors but using the McCormick and Farmall names is a way of selling tractors by an emotinal exploitation of a long gone era.

Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed.
