Stay away from the new jap tractors. Id say a MF 135. Handy with a loader, fairly small, and its 47hp - Its nice to know that youve got that extra power there if you need it. Perkins 3 cylinder diesel is by far the better engine. Also MF35. Fergie to30, but not very good with a loader,Ford 3000/4000/5000, Fordson Major if you want something cheap, but parts arent easy to get hold of. Im not a deere man, but im sure thell give you some alternatives from that brand. Try to keep within the makes MF, JD, IH, Ford. INHO they are the best brands. But im a massey man.
