At least you will know what it is costing you. My daughter had a failing sump pan on a Ford Fiesta and she took it to one of her local garages and was unhappy to pay over �200 for them to put a new one on. If only she had asked Dad. I would have found a good one at the local scrappie and fitted it for the cost of a gasket and the new old pan. Well, at least you didn't run it with the oil light on!! Enjoy you trip to Vermont. Let us know whether you buy spares or repair, and that all is well at the conclusion of your uncheduled service. Regards, RAB
