Personally i don't think one brand is better than the other, you have to pick a size and look at "all" the brands in "that" size. Also buy one bigger than you think you need too, because a "new compact" isn't built as heavy as your old WD45. They "won't" take a beating like your WD, and they "don't" have torque like an old tractor of similar size either. Robert
