Have owned a Belarus 800 since 1984. Originaly had two 6 volt batteries in series. After ten years of fighting this I converted to two 12 volt batteries in paralell used the biggest batteries that would fit. This made a lot of difference. Last year or maybe the the year before the original starter needed parts that were not available (Belarus said replace complete starter). Did a internet search and found a place in Texas (Kelly Ind.) that converted Delco staters to for Belarus tractors. I installed one the converted Delco units and the strater spins the engine much faster. The tractor cranks very well during winter in north Florida.

Dad replaced the TO-35 with a MF 202 Workbull, essentially an industrialized Ferguson 35 I am told.
