Which country was this MF 135 built?

Does anyone know where this was built? The badge goes at the front (although it is missing, but you can see where it was). This made me think it was british (im in the UK, os this would make sense). But then somewhere on this site i read that the British 135's have an accelarator peddle. Mine does not. The lights are about half way down the front grill. I saw a picture of a french one with the lights here, but havent really paid any attention to where they are on british or American built.

It has Perkins 3 cylinder diesel.
