I just got an 8.1 with the 6spd. When I say just got it I'm talking monday. So I am still breaking the motor in. Filled up last night got 12.1 mpg on 1st tank. I'm sure that I could do better if I wasn't having so much fun with that 6spd. Torque is better than some diesels and the get up and go of a gas for 6,000 less makes sense to me. So far I love it.
