rhouston, Funny thing is that nobody ever admits to voting for the morons who legislate widespread regulations, higher taxes, and those who create a welfare state. Nope, it's always the other party, and the other guy who voted for them. I absolutely resent having to vote for anyone who promises me anything that will cost money, because I know where it will come from ultimately. Sometimes the best thing our legislators, local, state, or federal, can do during their term in office is NOTHING at all. Thats why gridlock in congress isnt at all a bad thing. At least when they're mired in gridlock, they can't hurt us. I can't think of any legislation in recent years that didnt harm someone someway.
